Sen. Wolk named College and University Police Chief’s Legislator of the Year for Violating 2A

May 25, 2016

During the California College & University Police Chiefs Association (CCUPCA) Annual Conference, Senator Lois Wolk (D-Davis) was named CCUPCA’s 2016 “Legislator of the Year” for stripping away your Second Amendment rights and authoring the CCUPCA Co-Sponsored SB 707.

This is why we fight…

An organization whose members are made up of people who swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States gave an award to a Legislator whose biggest accomplishment is destroying and eviscerating the same Constitution.

SB 707, which is now law, eliminates the ability of licensed, law-abiding people to carry or possess handguns on school grounds (K-12, college, and university), while expanding special exemptions for favored (and politically powerful) government employees, including retired law enforcement officers and retired reserve officers.

No wonder they anointed Wolk their “Legislator of the Year.”

She literally took away the rights of all lawfully carrying individuals and gave it to an the very government employees who are supposed to protect those rights.

If you think this is as ridiculous as I think it is, please help support our lawsuit against SB 707 and STOP Senator Wolk, the powerful government employee lobbyists, and anyone else who attempts to strip away our rights.

Winning this lawsuit is the only way we are going to be able to send that message.
