In 2013, after significant discovery, depositions, and a 3-day bench trial, a federal judge ruled that firearm waiting periods imposed on law-abiding existing gun owners and people licensed to carry handguns were unconstitutional and violated the Second Amendment.
But, in late 2016, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ignored the trial court's findings and overturned that ruling.
The fate of this important case will soon be in the U.S. Supreme Court's hands!
